New Direction

Okay, the Daily/Weekly thanks thing didn't work.

I dunno where else to turn to, but I've got some confessions to make.

I am so SICK of my life.
Monotony will be the death of me.
When the highlight of my day is getting new tires on my truck, I know I've reached rock-bottom.
I WISH I could find someone to care about me.

I know a lot of people will say they do care about me, but they don't understand what I mean.

I want someone to REALLY care.
To be there when I need a friend,
to keep my attention for more than a few days,
who I can be myself around,
who enjoys me for ME.

Basically,
someone to love me.

So, that being said,

I cannot WAIT for college.

I guess I just needed to vent.  And what better place than a blog labeled "Confessions of the Darkest Mind You Know"?

Okay...

So the daily thanks thing didn't work out.
Let's try a weekly thanks instead.

Weekly Thanks, week of Sept. 7th, 2009 (technically starting last week, after my first thanks post)

I am thankful for:

  • The rain that we've had.  (or that we had down in Jeffersonville this weekend, I LOVE thunderstorms)
  • The three-day weekend
  • The four-day schoolweek
  • The IAA (Indiana Airsoft Association) guys who gave me a warm welcome.
  • Whoever plans to give me a job of the ten or fifteen applications I've filled out in as many days.

More on the way sometime.

Oh, and if you want to read some of my works, go to webook.com and search for a story called Harbinger's Rose.  That's my most recent, at least.

Uh...Okay...

My first post.
I'm on the way to becoming a successful blogger, I guess.

I guess I'll start a daily thanks.

Here goes...

Daily Thanks 9/3/09:

  • Today, I'm thankful that I got to sleep in until 7:15.
  • My truck hasn't caused any problems since I got the oil changed
  • We got to school on time
  • I got to read at lunch, but unfortunately I read for too long.  I was sitting at the park in my truck, and I looked at my clock and saw that it was 1:28.  Needless to say, I was late to 6th pd.
  • I answered almost every question correctly in our U.S. History review, usually having the answer before my team even started looking.
  •  I came home, and my cat had a gash in her front, right leg.  It will need stitches, and she MIGHT lose the foot to infection, but otherwise she is okay.
  • I got to talk to a friend who lives in the U.K.  She is 18 and Muslim, and her ex-boyfriend has been causing her problems.  He hacked into her Facebook, changed the password, and she can't talk to her international friends.  I told her to set up a new email and Facebook, and if that didn't work then we'd have to get creative.  She laughed about the creative part, and now I've got to think, in the meantime, of something more creative if he doesn't leave her alone.
  • and that's about it, for now.
